As the end of the year approaches, please find below our training schedule and details for the End-of-Year Celebration.
1. Holiday Closure: Our last training session for 2025 will be on Wednesday, December 17th. Regular training will resume on Monday, January 5th, 2026.
2. End-of-Year Celebration: To celebrate the end of the year, we will hold a gathering after our final training session with Takase Shihan. As in previous years, we’ll head to Neil’s home for this special celebration. We start with refreshments, followed by a presentation of gifts to Takase Shihan and Sensei Sarah to express our appreciation for their dedication and guidance throughout the year.
After that, we’ll enjoy a fun Secret Santa gift exchange. We warmly encourage everyone to take part by preparing one or more small gifts (valued around $10–$15 each). Families are also very welcome to join in the celebration! The event is expected to last around 1.5 to 2 hours.

3. Contribution: To help cover the costs of gifts, as well as refreshments, we are suggesting a contribution of $20 per member. Please give your contribution to Neil either in cash or via internet banking.
4. Food and Drinks: Feel free to bring a plate of food or drinks to share if you wish.
5. RSVP and Attendance: Family members are invited. Please let Neil or Seymour know if you’ll be attending and how many guests will be joining with you. Your prompt response will help us plan accordingly.
6. Invitation to Hamilton and Cambridge Dojos: We’re pleased to invite our friends from the Hamilton and Cambridge Dojos to join the celebration. Ashley and Marie, could you please check with your respective dojos and confirm their participation?
